Kay accounted for 41% of Signet’s sales in Fiscal 2015 and operated 1,094 stores in 50 states as of January 31, 2015.

Zales Jewelers operates primarily in shopping malls and targets middle market customers who are considered status projectors. Status projectors are customers who strive to express status through attractive, recognizable and stylish jewelry from acknowledged designers and brands. Zales is positioned as “The Diamond Store” given its emphasis on diamond jewelry, especially in bridal and fashion. Zales accounted for 14% of Signet’s sales in Fiscal 2015 and operated a total of 716 stores, including 706 stores in the United States and 10 stores in Puerto Rico as of January 31, 2015.
